The House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman formally introduced the ‘North American Energy Infrastructure Act’ last week, with a hearing to examine the legislation set to take place today. The proposed act will create a regulatory process around the construction of cross-border oil and gas pipelines and electric transmission lines.
