PolicyWatch: DOE Tool Helps Consumers Find Energy Efficiency Funding

By February 5, 2014No Comments

Craig, our Energy Policy Watch Dog, found this new interesting topic for our weekly POLICY WATCH…

The start of a new year always brings new changes, and 2014 is no different with respect to energy efficiency. Watching the Presidential State of the Union address, it’s easy to see that incentivizing energy efficiency is increasingly important to the current administration.

Ironically, the biggest obstacle to taking advantage of energy efficiency funds is knowing about them! The Department of Energy has addressed this by offering a tool that allows both businesses and residents to find energy efficiency tax credits, equipment rebates, and low-interest financing, with a focus on renewables (specifically solar).

This tool allows you to search federal and state program opportunities that everyone can take advantage of. Visit the link below to see if there are any programs that you can take advantage of!
