The January natural gas contract settled at its lowest price since January 10th, rolling off the board at $3.226/mmBtu. During six straight trading session, the February contract declined 34 cents or 9.5%, as weather forecasts called for warmer-than-normal temperatures. This price was the lowest expiration since the October 2012 contract settled in late September.
