Dustin Johnson was still celebrating his US Open win while golf audiences around the world waited for the British Open to begin. While waiting, on July 7th, the Burton Energy Open was held at Top Golf Alpharetta. Instead of walking 72 holes, Burton employees munched on snacks and relaxed in front of flat screen televisions to avoid the sweltering Georgia heat. Some fired 9 irons while a few more ambitious players reached immediately for the drivers and attempted to reach the back stop. The finance and accounting group took home the Open championship. Everyone had a lot of fun and it was a great way to end the week.
