Energy Audits
Burton utilizes information from the utility bill management reports to determine properties that use a comparatively high amount of one or more utilities. Burton will then work with the client’s engineering and facility management groups, asking qualifying questions about these facilities to determine if there are logical reasons for the high usage – equipment, occupancy, weather and new construction are typical variables.

Energy Audit Reports are comprehensive documents, typically 25-30 pages, with findings on current energy management practices, employee work processes, facility equipment and systems. Recommendations for more energy efficient measures include projected implementation costs and return on investment.
