Roswell, GA - Burton Energy Group was introduced as the preferred energy partner of the AH&LA today at the International Hotel & Motel/Restaurant Show. The IH&M/RS, taking place this week at Javits Center, annually brings together major hoteliers from throughout the world.
The AH&LA conducted due diligence of a number of prospective energy management companies before selecting Burton Energy Group. According to Pam Inman, COO of the AH&LA, “Burton provided the full compliment of energy services required for AH&LA members, and their knowledge of the market, metrics designed for this industry and savings results for major hoteliers were unsurpassed.”
Burton will assist AH&LA members with a range of energy management needs, including utility bill management, commodity purchasing, energy conservation and utility budgeting. At its inception the energy program will only be available to AH&LA members that own and/or manage a minimum of 2,000 rooms. Burton will provide a complimentary analysis of energy management opportunities for any qualified member.
Brent Burton, principal of Burton Energy Group, on the partnership, “we are thrilled to be working with such a renowned organization as the AH&LA to provide services that will benefit their members. Taking a proactive approach in energy management is prudent with today’s escalating natural gas, electricity and water rates.”
The Burton/AH&LA partnering agreement will be in effect for two years, 2007-2008.
