Burton Energy Group and Aimbridge Hospitality partner on energy program.
Roswell, GA - Aimbridge Hospitality today signed an energy management agreement with Burton Energy Group to provide services to their full portfolio of hotels. Services consist of utility bill management, electricity and natural gas procurement, energy conservation, utility budgeting advisory and custom, hotel-centric reports.
Vince Cuce, Aimbridge CFO, commented “we conducted our due diligence of energy management concerns for more than six months. Burton’s demonstrated energy and hotel market experience were a deciding factor. At the end of the day they provided the full range of services needed to execute an effective energy program.”
A principal of Burton Energy Group, Brent Burton, stated “the Aimbridge team impressed us with their experience in the hospitality sector and plans to grow their portfolio. A strategy and program to reduce energy expenditures made sense as property counts, and correspondingly utility costs, increase.”
The energy services agreement is for one year with the option to renew at any time during the term of the contract.
