AMERINET PARTNERS WITH BURTON lower energy bills FOR ITS MEMBERS
Amerinet is a leading national healthcare group purchasing organization (GPO). Amerinet collaborates with acute and alternate care providers – hospitals, surgery centers, long-term care facilities, clinics and doctor offices – to create and deliver unique solutions through performance improvement resources, guidance and ongoing support.
Amerinet has partnered with Burton Energy Group to help provide energy management services to its members and the communities they serve. Amerinet has an Energy Management Program already established, and utilizes Burton resources and subject matter expertise to further enhance member services and support. Burton works with Amerinet corporate and their members - hospitals, medical centers, clinics, labs and other affiliated healthcare facilities - to lower energy and water usage and costs. The working alliance is similar in scope to that of the American Hotel & Lodging Association, which was established in 2006 to assist member hoteliers with their energy management needs.

Why is an energy management program important to AH&LA members?
Typically utility costs represent the second largest expenditure for hoteliers, after labor costs. Over the past few years energy prices have increased to historical highs, and market volatility has placed an emphasis on buying electricity and natural gas when market conditions are favorable. Intelligent commodity purchasing, combined with comprehensive energy conservation practices and proactive utility billing procedures, can significantly reduce energy costs at any hotel.
The AH&LA Energy Program in partnership with Burton Energy Group, is available to all corporate and multiunit members that own and/or manage a minimum of 4,000 rooms. All Burton services are provided in the program and there are no up-front fees or forms to complete. Members are offered a complimentary assessment of energy management opportunities within their portfolio of assets, and can then determine if they want to move forward with an energy management program.
Energy program fees correlate to total room count. AH&LA corporate members also receive a 20% discount. Contact your AH&LA account representative or Burton Energy Group for additional information.
